Marketing is the corner stone of your success. It your customers do not know that you are out there, how can they become your customers.
The AGA knows that it is very difficult to get noticed. As well, it is difficult to decide the cost/benefit of many different marketing programs. As difficult as it may be. It is important to do as much marketing as possible. You must be fresh and consistant.
The AGA developed a marketing program to assist artist, studios, retailers and even manufacturers to get their message out there at a fraction of the cost of an Ad Agency. The PR Program is the vehicle to deliver your message to every newpaper, radio and TV station and magazine in your area.
The Press Release Program will give the user the ability to 'blanket' a press release to the local market (100s to 1000s of people) in less than 10 minutes.
Here is how it works.
- Find a reason to talk about yourself. This can be a "style" of glass art, a new technique, gallery showing, open house, Art Glass Month, an installed commission, an award or just about anything you can talk about.
- Write a one page paper otherwise called a 'Press Release'. Make sure you mention the 'Who, What, When, Where and Why".
- If you don't want to write, the AGA has professional writers that will do it for you.
- Send this paper and a couple of pictures to the AGA office with an explaination of where your market is. That can be by city, county or counties or the state(s).
- When you send that information to us, we go into your database that has every newspaper, magazine, radio and TV in it with a list of every editor or writer for that company. We can select all 'glass magazines' or all 'jewelry magazines' or TV shows that talk about 'glass jewelry'. The point is, it's endless the different avenues to promote your self through the media.
- We send out your Press Release. We supply you with a list of every person that received the information.
If if meets the needs of the magazine or maybe the TV show, then they will call you directly.
