The Art Glass Association is the largest association in the world that is dedicated to the business of art glass. Founded in 1986, AGA is an international non-profit organization whose purpose is to create awareness, knowledge and involvement for the growth and prosperity of the art glass industry. AGA unifies all the different voices in the industry: manufacturers of glass supplies and equipment, manufacturer representatives, wholesalers, retailers of glass design supplies, studios, artisans, educators, and hobbyist / consumers.
The Art Glass Association sponsors consumer awareness programs and activities. One such activity is Art Glass Month, celebrated during the month of April. AGA member retail stores throughout the United States, Canada and internationally participate in the promotion of Art Glass Month by generating classes, sales specials, contests, public viewing of product and media events.
